GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – There's now a shop in Eden Prairie catering to taller gals who struggle to find longer lengths.

Sisters Allison Hultgren & Amy Rosenthal, owners of Amalli Talli, came by KARE Saturday to show off some of their products.

Amalli Talli's mission is to provide fashionable and trendy women's clothing in longer lengths and offers denim, tops, skirts, dresses, outerwear and more, all carefully chosen to compliment taller physiques. Inseams start at 34" and go all the way up to 38".

Figures estimate the number of tall women in this country to be around 11 million, yet nearly 80% of all tall retail sales annually come from men's sales alone, speaking to the lack of options available for taller women.

Hultgren and Rosenthal launched Amalli Talli together after a lifetime of personal struggles themselves. At 5'10" and 6'3" respectively, they witnessed first-hand the challenges that tall women have in finding everyday necessities in stores, such as something as simple as a pair of jeans.

While they are building out their permanent store in the Eden Prairie Center, which will open by March 2015, Amalli Talli has opened a temporary pop-up location within the mall on the upstairs level of the JC Penney wing. Online shopping will also be available beginning in spring of 2015.
